On Friday I went to Barcelona as part of an organised trip for Erasmus students. It was for two nights and we arrived home late last night. We left friday afternoon and travelled by coach, staying in a hostel near to the centre. We spent saturday with a tour guide seeing the many famous sights of Barcelona including La Sagrada Familia, Camp Nou, The Olympic Stadium and Las Ramblas. We also saw some of the famous Gaudí architechture and Park Güell. After our second night out in Barcelona on the Saturday, we were given free time on Sunday to explore and we decided to walk to the port. We also walked to Camp Nou to see the stadium before getting back on the coach to head back to Valencia. It was a very busy trip filled with all Barcelona has to offer. I hope I am able to go back to visit again when I have more time to see some of its most treasured sights in more detail. The trip allowed me to meet new people who have now become my good friends here in Valencia and I hope to be able to do more Erasmus trips in the future.
